| IN-HOUSE TUTORING
at the
North Campus
Fall Tutoring
Begins September 2, 2008
North Campus Tutorial Services is located in the
Learning Center (Room 2102) inside the Library on the second floor.
Tutoring is free and available to CCAC students registered
for credit courses. Completion of a Tutoring Intake Form is required
each semester and can be obtained from the Library service counter,
directly from the tutor, or from the secretary located in the Library
near Room 1005G.
Most tutoring sessions are "one-on-one"
by appointment, Monday through Saturday. However, for some courses,
small-group tutoring sessions can be arranged by student or faculty
request. A Math Standby walk-in workshop will begin in the spring
of 2007 for MAT080 and MAT090 students, and sessions will be topical,
following the topics of the courses throughout the semester.
Help is available for "walk-ins" only if
the tutor has a vacancy. Upon demand, study skills and test taking
workshops are also scheduled.
For more information about the tutoring services
at the North Campus, please call (412)-369-3680.
Individual appointments by contacting available
tutors during their working hours. For their schedules, refer to
the North
Campus Weekly Schedule.:
